About Project Shiksha

Project Shiksha is a transformative initiative aimed at uplifting disadvantaged communities by enhancing access to quality education. The project addresses educational disparities and inequities faced by underprivileged students and marginalized groups, with a mission to empower these individuals through improved educational opportunities.

Organized by 100 Group in collaboration with Sowers Action Nepal & HK, RONB, Dari Club USA, Bindass Toli, and Creating Opportunities, Project Shikshya seeks to remove systemic barriers and promote inclusivity and diversity. Through scholarships, vocational training, and life-skills coaching, the initiative strives to provide equal opportunities for learning and growth, regardless of socioeconomic status, gender, geography, or disability.

Driven by a vision of social justice, Project Shikshya is committed to creating systemic changes that enable equitable access to education, investing in the development of disadvantaged individuals to bridge divides and foster empowerment. This holistic approach aims to build a more just educational landscape where everyone has the right to quality education.

Scholarship Criteria for Project Shikshaa

  • Need and Performance-Based Evaluation: Selection will be based on financial need and academic performance, with applicants required to submit income proof and academic records.
  • Priority for Government School Students: Preference will be given to students currently enrolled in government schools.
  • Support for Marginalized Communities: Special consideration will be extended to students from marginalized and underrepresented communities.
  • Entrance Exam and Interview Requirement: Candidates must successfully complete the Project Shikshya entrance exam and attend an interview as part of the assessment process.
  • Compliance with 100 Group Policies: All applicants must adhere to the policies and regulations established by 100 Group.
  • Registration Fee: A non-refundable registration fee of Rs. 375/- must be paid at the time of application.

परियोजना शिक्षाको लागि छात्रवृत्ति मापदण्ड

  • आवश्यकता र प्रदर्शन-आधारित मूल्याङ्कन: छनौट आर्थिक आवश्यकता र शैक्षिक प्रदर्शनको आधारमा गरिनेछ, जसमा आवेदकहरूले आय प्रमाण र शैक्षिक अभिलेखहरू पेश गर्नुपर्नेछ।
  • सरकारी विद्यालयका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई प्राथमिकता दिइनेछ।
  • सीमान्तीकृत समुदायहरूको समर्थन: सीमान्तीकृत र अल्पसंख्यक समुदायहरूका विद्यार्थीहरूलाई विशेष प्राथमिकता गरिनेछ।
  • प्रवेश परीक्षा र अन्तरवार्ता आवश्यक: उम्मेदवारहरूले परियोजना शिक्षाको प्रवेश परीक्षा सफलतापूर्वक पूरा गर्नुपर्नेछ र मूल्याङ्कन प्रक्रियाको हिस्सा रूपमा अन्तरवार्तामा सहभागी हुनुपर्नेछ।
  • १०० ग्रुपका नीतिहरूको पालना: सबै आवेदकहरूले १०० ग्रुपद्वारा स्थापित नीतिहरू र नियमहरूको पालना गर्नुपर्नेछ।
  • दर्ता शुल्क: आवेदनको समयमा गैर-फिर्ता योग्य दर्ता शुल्क रु. ३७५/- तिर्नुपर्नेछ।
